Sabathier Consulting is a Limited Liability Company incorporated in Virginia and has an office in Washington DC, USA. It has been in operation since 2005. It operates with a network of associates to provide its clients worldwide with policy shaping,  strategic insight and planning, management, business development, and representation in the  Technology, Media and Teleco Sector, TMT,  as well as in the Aerospace & Defense Sector, A&D.

More specifically in the fields SPACE and CYBERSPACE., which are increasinlgy interconnected.

Although Sabathier Consulting has worked in the past with China and Japan, it is currently focusing on the USA and Europe and the transatlantic relations.

Through its involvement with the Space Initiatives Program at CSIS, a major bi-partisan think tank in Washington DC, Sabathier Consulting  has promoted Space as a foreign policy tool. It has stressed the need for a balanced space program between outer space (space exploration) and useful space (space for Earth). Sabathier Consulting has always been a strong advocate of SPACE POWER. Space Power can be understood as the XIXth century Sea Power described eloquently by Adm. Mahan, but extended, in the XXIth century, to the third dimension and to the digital space (Cyberspace).

Space Power is Smart Power, which is a balance between Hard and Soft Power. 

Sabathier Consulting has been a restless advocate for global Human space exploration, including the International Space Station, the return to the moon and the deployment of an international and autonomous lunar base, both as a way to enhance international security, sustainable global development of space and as a way to promote the technologies that will be needed to adapt to the global challenges such as global warming.

For the last twenty years, Sabathier Consulting LLC has also led ALSATIS in France and BLOOSURF in the US. Both ALSATIS and BLOOSURF started  off offering broadband solutions to connect people in rural areas using Fixed Wireless Access Network on licensed spectrum (CBRS on band 38 and EBS on band 41) that they design, deploy and operate.

BLOOSURF is considering upgrading its network to 5G while it is also pivoting to FTTP networks leveraging XPS PON technology via its BLOOFIBER brand.

 ALSATIS is now providing managed services to businesses via the ALSATIS SERVICES brand, and Smart Territories/Cities solutions to local governments via the ALSATIS NETWORKS brand.

Thanks to its recent investments in Green Datacenters, IOT Sensors and sovereign 5G systems ALSATIS can provide end to end solutions for businesses and local governments alike from the device/sensor to the Datacenter where AI resides.

During COVID Sabathier Consulting strengthened its understanding of the CYBERSECURITY component of CYBERSPACE. CYBERSECURITY is the Security of the digital world, hence of the data in transit and the data at rest in the CIA TRIAD: CONFIDENTIALITY / INTEGRITY / AVAILABILITY.

 CYBERSPACE, although anthropogenic, is a global common like SPACE where international law does not apply because it cannot be enforced. Best practices and UN wishfull thinking try, however, to establish a certain order. As a result CYBERSPACE is a virtual place connected to the physical domain where ADVANCED PERSISTENT THREATS, APT,  and international crime strive and can have catastrophic consequences. 

Imagine for example an APT taking control of a water management company and increasing the chlorine content in the drinkable water flow.
